A Children's Place mission is to provide safe, healthy and happy childcare for children ages six weeks to five years of age without regard to race, religious affiliation or social-economic status. A Children’s Place is non-profit and has been licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services since 1971.

Wrap-around Care—or care before and after UPK—is available for those enrolled in our Universal Pre-K Program. Care is also available during school breaks and holidays.

A Children’s Place is a comprehensive approach to early care and education. We nurture social, physical, cognitive, and emotional development. We cultivate learning and creative expression. We aim to meet the individual needs of each child and his or her family.

We ensure that our children receive the following early intervention evaluations while enrolled in our program:
Vision Screenings by Chautauqua Blind Association
Denver Developmental Screenings by the Chautauqua County Department of Health

Our early care and education program is designed to ensure children with limited English proficiency are provided with equal access and opportunity to achieve curriculum goals. Two teachers are English-Spanish bilingual.

Our teachers and support staff:
cannot administer medications
are background checked, finger printed and drug tested
are fully certified in Adult/Child and Infant CPR and Infant/Child First Aid
meet the continuous 30 hours of training in a two-year licensing period.
All Head Teachers have education in the Early Childhood field.

Every child is provided with a balanced, nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack at no cost to their family. Menus are sent home monthly.

indoor play in a spacious gym

You’ll receive an email with a secure pin/code number. Check your spam folder if it’s not in your inbox. Note: If you receive an error message, the email may not match what is on file at your center. Contact your center’s administrator to confirm the email.
Enter the Registration Pin on the registration screen.
Enter and confirm a password, then click the link to return to login page. Note: Passwords must be at least 8 characters long, with one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.

Hopefully, all of your questions will be answered in this handbook, but if they aren’t, please don’t hesitate to ask. We want this to be a good experience for you and your child!

Payment is required weekly and is due the Friday prior to the week of care given. Accounts more than 3 weeks past due are subject to a $10 per week late fee and services may be suspended until balance is paid in full. In the event that a delinquent account is turned into a collection agency, parents will be responsible for all additional fees.
